How to Avoid Dating Loser Men

Some women don’t seem to have any trouble finding dates, but when it comes to meeting quality men they have the worst luck.  There is something about the way they act around guys that brings all the losers out of their hiding places and into their lives.  But even though these ladies attract the deadbeats, it is not a reflection of poor taste.  Instead, it is usually just a matter of not recognizing the warning signs and becoming trapped in a bad relationship.  Here are some simple strategies for avoiding guys with skeletons in their closet.

Too Much Love
One of the biggest red flags of a loser guy is when he says “I Love You” within the first few weeks of dating.  This is usually a sign of desperate individual who is looking for an emotional crutch to get through a hard time, or someone who has other devious intentions down the road.  A good man knows that he has to prove his commitment and love over time for it to truly matter.  This goes along with the old saying “If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is”.

Wearing You Down
Some guys use harsh words and criticisms to try and break your self confidence to make you believe they are the only one who will date you.  They come up with every excuse for why you shouldn’t pursue your dreams.  Sadly, many women fall for this trap and start to doubt themselves.  Before you know it, you are trapped in a miserable relationship and begin to settle for an unfulfilling life.  Always remember that true love involves wanting to see your partner find happiness with themselves and not feeling rejected or unwanted.

Paranoid
A healthy relationship is built on confidence and trust.  When you are in love there may be times when you miss your partner, but you are always confident that they are being honest and loyal to you.  There are losers out there who will stalk your every move and prevent you from participating in events where other men are present.  If you begin to recognize this behavior in your man, then it is best to get out as fast as you can.  Paranoia like this will only get worse unless you put your foot down.

Revolting Against Friends and Family
Your friends and family members are often the best gauge of character for a new flame.  They can see things more objectively than you because they aren’t blinded by the passion and romance that keeps you from seeing the truth about your partner.  You should definitely second guess any man who tries to separate you from your support network.  It is likely they are doing this to prevent their own faults and lies from being exposed.

Playing Nice with Others
A good indicator of how sincere and caring your man really is can be measured by how they treat others.  This includes everyone from their friends to the teller at the bank.  Many loser guys will wear a trusting smile while they are around you, but you will notice that they are mean or aggressive with everyone else.  It is only a matter of time until they will treat you the same way.  A true gentleman gives each person they meet a friendly welcome and mutual respect.  Anything less could be cause for concern.

These are just some of the warning signs that you may be dating a loser.  While it can be invigorating to find someone who is interested in you, it can be costly to overlook negative traits like the ones listed here.  There are too many good guys out there to waste your time with the losers.  In the end, you are better off staying true to your beliefs than settling for someone who will only cause you pain in the long run.
